Yeah, I know, making a journal before submitting any art is really lame. I'm sorry, guys. But bear with me please.

Anyway, reason why I haven't submitted any art recently? Same excuse as always. School. College is fuuuun. Also, I might be learning to drive soon, so... uh, yeah. Basically all my energy is sapped away. I might try coloring something tomorrow though.

I have other stuff I want to rant talk about, though. Mostly related to my fandoms, so if you don't care, you don't have to read. C: All you really need to know is that college hasn't killed me yet, and I'll try to get back into the hang of coloring stuff soon.

I don't know why I haven't talked about this before, but I went out and got Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days the day it came out, and I finished it... a little less than two weeks after I got it, I believe. X3 It was really fun! I like it a lot. It's a good addition to the series.

I'd like to talk about Xion a little bit. You know, I was just like all the other fans when I first heard about her... "Oh, she's just a Mary Sue, she doesn't belong in OrgXIII, blah I hate her already!" But, you know, now that I've played the game, Xion is actually a really good character. She's freaking adorable, and she's fairly well-rounded (for a KH character, seeing as KH is notorious for it's crappy character development... at least, that's what I think of it). She fit in very well with Roxas and Axel, and didn't overshadow either one of them. That was a big fear of mine, that Xion would swoop in and immediately take over the whole game and Axel would be basically forced out of the picture. However, Axel remained just as important to both Roxas and Xion as they were important to each other.
So, today I went looking for pictures of her here, and what do I see? Bitching and moaning and whining, everywhere. Oh my god, everyone was just sitting around bitching at each other. I haven't been in the KH fandom for so long that I forgot just how stupid it really is. There were Xion lovers and Xion haters all sitting around calling each other dumbasses, which to me is really ironic because they're all as stupid as each other and they can't even see that. I'm firmly convinced that whoever calls Xion a Mary Sue hasn't played the game. If she was a Sue, she'd swoop in and capture Roxas's heart and overshadow everyone else without ever doing anything, but she didn't do that. Not only that, but if you've played even the least bit attention to the games themselves and you still consider Xion to be a Sue, you'd realize that every character in Kingdom Hearts fits the definition of a Sue. That's why Xion fits in so perfectly! She's just like everyone else!
Oh my god, I'm sorry. I just can't stand when fans do nothing but bitch and whine at each other. Seriously, guys, stop taking yourselves so damn seriously. You're all dumbasses, and that's all there is to it. The amount of hate that Xion gets pisses me off a little too, because she's actually quite a good character, for Kingdom Hearts. She's a lot better than she could have been, I'll tell you that much. I'm fed up with the KH fandom. It's just too stupid for me. The majority of fans have never played the games in their lives, and probably never will, either, and yet they call themselves fans. Why did I even try to get back into this fandom? It fails so hard I can't even see straight. I won't be making that mistake again. I might draw some fanart or write some fanfictions or whatever, but I don't really want to deal with the other fans.

Well... sorry about that.

Over the past week, I've also come to some conclusions about my most favorite pairings. I've found a trend! It goes something like... "Sinner is saved by the devotion of a loved one." Now that sounds like a newspaper heading. XDD
No, but, seriously. Look at this list. SasuNaru (Naruto is the only one who still loves Sasuke), ArikaNina (Arika worked so hard to bring her back... I can see that love translating over into the future), RikuSora (Sora searching so hard for Riku to save him from the darkness), NanoFate (Nanoha cared about Fate unconditionally even before they became friends, and that is devotion in it's purest form), ChikaneHimeko (Well, all KnM fans love this pairing, duh, it's the reason we watch KnM).
Basically, all of them consist of evilperson x heroperson. Evilperson eventually gets converted to the good side by the love and devotion of the heroperson... with some variation. Such as, Chikane was actually good the whole time and Sasuke hasn't actually been converted yet. But I remain convinced that he will be, someday.

Also, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha makes me squeal. It's an amazing and adorable series. I highly recommend it. You don't even need to wear yurigoggles to see the subtext between Nanoha and Fate. <3
