Anyway, I really went... all-out with colors here. o.O I couldn't think of a suitable background, because anything as bright and colorful as her would be take away from her... *sigh* Oh well.
I had fun coloring this. ^____^ Lol. Poses. I have no idea what kind of pose that it. I never plan before I draw.

Now I feel like speaking (ranting) about her character. (Her name is Val, by the way.) Ignore if you want.

Val (short for Valerie, I guess, but she hates that name) is a weird girl. XD She's a total tomboy, but she dresses this flamboyantly all the time. All her friends are guys (who she's probably slept with before). She's loud, obnoxious, rude, all that good stuff. She's hot, she knows she's hot, and flaunts it constantly. Drugs, sex, alcohol, everything adults say you shouldn't do, she's tried at least once. She's always in your face. It's her way, or the highway. (I'm sure somewhere deep down underneath all that vibrant color she can be a reasonable person, but she's mostly governed by her flaming passion.) Her general outlook is "shit happens, life's a bitch. Get over it and get the hell on with life." I may even go so far as to say she's highly amused by the shit that life gives and even seeks it out sometime for her amusement. She's the type who always draws attention to herself with her big mouth and loud clothes.
But honestly, all that is an act. She's just scared of the crap life has given her and masks it with this bright exterior. (Her parents are divorced, her dad's a workaholic who has no time for her, and her mom's an idiot ex-model whose stuck in the past, so she doesn't get any attention there either. All her classmates call her a whore (which is actually sort of true, but it still hurts) and ignore her, or are even outright mean to her.)
XD She's probably the type who would listen to Liz Phair, Avril Lavigne, alternative/rock types like that. My Chemical Romance. ("They said all teenagers scare the living shit out of me..." XD She's a living example.)
Her love interest, life partner, loving wifey, whatever you want to call it, is a female bookworm (tentatively) named Ellie. I'll talk more about her if I submit a good picture of her. X3
